Max's Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord the lizards keep
Showin' up inside my house
'Cause they're more fun than any mouse!
The squirrels down here are small and fast,
And chasing egrets is a BLAST,
And if you look beneath the rugs,
You're sure to find Palmetto Bugs!
For now, I'll rest upon these pillows,
And dream of chasing Armadillos!!
