| Tips for Naming a pet
• Select a simple and relatively short name for your pet.
Pets generally respond best to names that are no longer than two
syllables.
• If you have other pets, make sure each name has a distinct
sound. Try not to have a cat named “Tinker” and a dog
named “Stinker” – it could get quite confusing
for them!
• HAVE FUN! Unlike naming a child, where peer group acceptance
is often considered, naming your pet gives you the chance to be
original and creative!
